Copyright and DMCA Policy

Notices should be submitted through /dmca/report or emailed to copyright@abcmods.com and addressed to: ABC Mods Copyright Agent. The operator's legal entity name, physical mailing address, and telephone number must be published here and registered with the U.S. Copyright Office before launch.

A notice must contain all information required by applicable law.

• A physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or authorized agent.
• Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list when multiple works are covered.
• Identification and location of the allegedly infringing material, including the relevant ABC Mods URL.
• The claimant's name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or law.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and the claimant is authorized to act.

We review complete notices promptly, may request clarification, and may remove or disable access to material while notifying the affected uploader. Knowingly making material misrepresentations may create liability.

An affected uploader may email copyright@abcmods.com with a signature, identification of removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, and the uploader's name, address, telephone number, plus consent to the jurisdiction and service-of-process statements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).

We may forward the counter-notice to the claimant and restore material after the statutory waiting period unless the claimant notifies us of a court action seeking to restrain the uploader.

We maintain records of substantiated copyright complaints and terminate, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of repeat infringers. We consider the number and severity of incidents, counter-notices, retractions, court outcomes, and evidence of deliberate evasion. We may terminate immediately for egregious infringement and may block re-registration.
